YORK-ADAMS AREA COUNCIL    CAMP TUCKAHOE

Year-Round Program Opportunities Abound At Tuckahoe!

Hemlock LodgeWhen summer camp season season ends at Tuckahoe, the fun and Scouting adventure continues all year long!  Tuckahoe is blessed with outstanding facilities that will provide a comfortable home-away-from-home in fall, winter and spring.

Tuckahoe is now home to eight state-of-the-art, spacious lodges. Two of our cabins can accommodate up to 40 persons for sleeping and two can accommodate up to 50 persons, with smaller capacity facilities also available for units of all sizes.  Two of our cabins, the frontier fort and medieval castle, are designed especially for Cub Scout packs to utilize with indoor plumbing, heat, restrooms and showers.

There are weekends when the camp is used for council or district activities, so your best bet is to check availability by calling the camping service at the council service center at (717) 843-0901 or (800) 569-5197 (outside York) before submitting a reservation.  You can also check out our reservations chart on-line.  As the web site chart may lag behind actual reservations by a few days, it is recommended that you call the council service center before placing any reservation or sending a deposit.

Year-Round Reservations Schedule

Since completing construction and renovations at Camp Tuckahoe in 2003, demand for use of our cabin facilities has dramatically increased.  The council has established a reservations policy that prioritizes use of Cub World facilities by Cub Scout packs as well as establishing an annual timetable for reservations by in-council, out-of-council and non-Scouting groups.  Please review our reservations policy by clicking here.
