Scouts to the most-experienced Boy Scout campers. All of our resident
camp programs are designed to be filled with fun and challenging outdoor
programs with a special purposes.
Camp programs are designed to

teach citizenship and encourage personal fitness. Summer camping
opportunities are available to any registered Scout regardless of race,
creed, religion, or national origin.
But Tuckahoe is much more than just a summer
camp - there are a total eight cabins available for
year-round use at
Tuckahoe, including two cabins each capable of sleeping up to 40
persons and two cabins sleeping up to 50 persons. The camp's four older cabins have been
completely remodeled to create comfortable accommodations for groups
looking for a warm place to stay during the cold weather months or for
units visiting the Gettysburg area (about 35 minutes to the south of
Tuckahoe) for the extremely popular
historic trails program offered by the
York-Adams Area Council in partnership with the National Park Service.
Tuckahoe
is also blessed with some of the most beautiful scenery for tent camping
anywhere in Pennsylvania in its many campsites. In addition,
Tuckahoe is the home for the annual Halloween Days program offered for
Cub Scouts of all ages each October. Halloween Days attracted more
than 750 Cub Scouts and parents on each of two weekends, providing thrills and
excitement for Cub Scouts and their parents.
