Cub World - Frontier Fort

Howdy partner, and welcome to Camp Tuckahoe's Frontier Fort, where Cub Scouts can imagine being back in the days of the Wild West.  Here, Cub Scouts can envision themselves as cowboys, sheriffs or bad guys as part of their activities.  The fort doubles as a summer program center and a state-of-the-art year-round cabin.

During summer camp, the fort will host program activities during Cub Scout sessions.  During these camp sessions, boys will also be able to stay in the fort overnight as their "outpost" program away from their campsite.  Packs should indicate their interest in staying in the fort during summer camp when completing their registration information, as space is limited and reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis.

When not in use for summer camp, the fort, like the Medieval Castle, is a marvelous cabin that sleeps up to 40 persons, with indoor restroom and shower facilities and forced-air heat.  A spacious eating area and well-equipped kitchen provides all that you can ask for in a cabin.  Bunk beds with mattress pads allow campers a very comfortable night's sleep.  The fort is also decorated to create a very special atmosphere for campers.
