At
the heart of every successful camp operation is a well-fed group of campers.
At Camp Tuckahoe, we pride ourselves on delivering quality meals for campers
served in a comfortable setting. Built in 2003, Camp Tuckahoe's
state-of-the-art dining hall is spacious, functional, and extremely
comfortable. With a seating capacity of 500 persons and a kitchen that
easily accommodate a group of that size, Tuckahoe's dining hall also can be
air-conditioned or heated, depending on the season.
Tuckahoe's dining hall is also known for a
spirited atmosphere where the entire camp can come together for more than
just meals. Songs, cheers, and skits create a fun environment
for the entire camp community.

As part of your arrival day orientation tour, the dining hall steward will explain the operation of the camp's family-style meal service and the role of your group's table waiters in making that system work smoothly.
Scouts and camp staff members gather outside the dining hall prior to mealtime.
Tuckahoe's dining hall was built with a capacity of 500 persons in mind, but can hold even larger crowds when necessary. Pictured is a full house crowd during the 2003 summer camp season.
Tuckahoe's dining room was designed with campers' comfort in mind. The spacious room is very open and the ceiling trusses are adorned with National Jamboree flags from the York-Adams Area Council.
We aim to please with all of our meals. The salad bar is a big hit with campers of all ages, as you can see.
Dining hall programs develop camp spirit and camaraderie. After-meal programs are lots of fun.
