Medieval Castle

Cub Scouts love using their imaginations in many of their activities, should why should camp be an exception?  At Camp Tuckahoe's Medieval Castle, Cub Scouts can imagine themselves as a knight at King Arthur's roundtable, preparing to do battle with a dragon, or some other challenge. The castle doubles as a summer program center and a state-of-the-art year-round cabin.

During summer camp, the castle will host program activities during Cub Scout sessions.  During these camp sessions, boys will also be able to stay in the castle overnight as their "outpost" program away from their campsite.  Packs should indicate their interest in staying in the castle during summer camp when completing their registration information, as space is limited and reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis.

When not in use for summer camp, the castle is a marvelous cabin that sleeps up to 40 persons, with indoor restroom and shower facilities and forced-air heat.  A spacious eating area and well-equipped kitchen provides all that you can ask for in a cabin.  Bunk beds with mattress pads allow campers a very comfortable night's sleep.  The castle is also decorated to create a very special atmosphere for campers.
