Camp Tuckahoe, located near Dillsburg, PA on the border between York and Cumberland counties, has served as the council's summer camp home since 1948.

With 1,300 acres of lush wooded hills, Tuckahoe is a camp rich in the purest traditions of Scout camping while offering campers of all ages outstanding challenges and adventures.

Tuckahoe has recently been transformed for the 21st century through $4.5 million worth of new construction and renovations that were completed in 2003.

With the addition of major new facilities such as a new dining hall and swimming pool, as well as an outstanding Cub World (which includes fort, castle and pirate ship elements), Tuckahoe has been reshaped into one of the finest Scout camping facilities to be found anywhere in the United States.

Holly LodgeJust because summer's over, there's no reason not to get your Scouts to camp when there's a camp like Tuckahoe waiting for you and your boys.  Whether it's spring, summer, winter or fall, Tuckahoe provides the ideal setting for Scouting's outdoor programs.

Eight well-equipped cabins available for rental provide Camp Tuckahoe with indoor sleeping accommodations for 250 campers.  Beautiful wooded campsites, miles of hiking trails, and picturesque lake create a magnificent outdoor environment for Scout units, youth groups and conferences. 

Many non-Scout groups take advantage of Tuckahoe's outstanding facilities and wondrous setting for their own outdoor adventures.

For Scouts of All Ages

Scout SnorkelingMost boys join Scouting to go camping.  That was true in 1910 when Scouting began in the US and it's still true today.  Whether you're a brand-new Cub Scout or an experienced Boy Scout camper, the magic of Scouting is best found in its outdoor programs.

Cub Scouts can participate in the three-day, two-night Cub Resident Camp, Webelos Weekend or five-day, four-night Webelos Resident Camp.  Four week-long Boy Scout camp sessions will take place in 2009.

Camp Tuckahoe features great programs for boys of all ages. You don't want to miss out on all of the terrific program opportunities available each summer at Tuckahoe.

The camp staff consists of a dedicated group of Scouts and Scouters who exert great effort to make sure each Scout's stay at camp is the best it can be.  All camp staff are aware of the great responsibility of being role models for the campers and are encouraged to live by the Scout Oath and Scout Law.

Camp Tuckahoe is pleased to provide a full complement of trained staff members who continually aim to please. All staff members and counselors-in-training undergo a demanding pre-camp training program. In addition, department heads and other key staff members hold certifications from National Camping Schools of the Boy Scouts of America.
