Council Scout Shop

The York-Adams Area Council Scout Shop is located within the Council Service Center is located in West York. The Scout Shop is always well-stocked and carries the full line of BSA supply merchandise, uniforms, literature and recognitions.  Special orders for any BSA supply items are also gladly accepted.

Hours of Operation

The York-Adams Area Council Scout Shop is open daily from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M.  The Scout Shop is also open Wednesday evenings until 8:30 P.M., and from 8:30 A.M. until 12 Noon on Saturday mornings. 

Scout Shop staff members also process camp reservations, accept membership and unit re-chartering paperwork, and other transactions with the council.

Directions to the Scout Shop

From Baltimore and Southern York County

Travel north on Interstate 83 to Exit 21B - Route 30 (Arsenal Road).  Proceed traveling west on Rt. 30, approximately 2 1/2 miles to the Rt. 74 (West York) exit.  At the end of the exit ramp, turn left on to Rt. 74 heading south.  Go to the 2nd stop light and turn right onto White St. (Commerce Center).  Continue for 1/2 mile (past a strip mall on the right) to the Council Service Center on the right.  The building is stone and wood and sits directly across the street from the Big Lots store.

From Harrisburg and Northern York County

Travel south on Interstate 83 to Exit 22.  Follow signs to Route 30 west (Arsenal Road).  Proceed traveling west on Rt. 30, approximately 2 1/2 miles to the Rt. 74 (West York) exit.  At the end of the exit ramp, turn left on to Rt. 74 heading south.  Go to the 2nd stop light and turn right onto White St. (Commerce Center).  Continue for 1/2 mile (past a strip mall on the right) to the Council Service Center on the right.  The building is stone and wood and sits directly across the street from the Big Lots store.

From Gettysburg and West

Travel to York and connect with Rt. 30.  Travel west on Rt. 30 to Rt. 74 (West York) exit.  At the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto Rt. 74 heading south.  Turn right at the next stop light onto White St. (Commerce Center).  Continue for 1/2 mile (past a strip mall on the right) to the Council Service Center on the right.  The building is stone and wood and sits directly across the street from the Big Lots store.

While the York-Adams Area Council cannot sell national supply division items on-line, the council does sell a variety of custom-design items on line.  You can purchase York-Adams Area Council shoulder emblems, Gettysburg Historic Trail patches and trail guides, t-shirts, golf shirts, Tuckahoe Lodge flaps, Camp Tuckahoe items and other items at the council's Virtual Scout Shop.  You can order on-line with any major credit card and the items will be shipped directly to you from the council service center in York, PA.
