New Leader Essentials is the initial training for all adult leaders. This 90-minute presentation will provide an overview of the core elements of scouting (Mission, Aims Methods). Also included is information on resources available to provide a great program.
New Leader Essentials is the initial training for all adult leaders. This 90-minute presentation will provide an overview of the core elements of scouting (Mission, Aims Methods). Also included is information on resources available to provide a great program.
Cub Scout Leader Specific Training provides the basic tools and skills a Leader needs to provide a program for a Cub Scout Den Pack. This course will explain the duties and responsibilities of each position. Individual trainings (approx. 2 1/2 hours) are provided for Tiger Cub Den Leaders, Den Leaders, Webelos Den Leaders, Cubmaster and Committee Members.
Webelos Leader Outdoor Training provides Webelos Leaders and assistants with the necessary information to provide an outdoor program for Webelos Scouts.
This hand-on course is specifically designed for Cub Scout Leaders in the basics and the rules and regulations of Cub Scouting camping. Packs planning any independent camping program are required to have leadership complete this course.
For Scoutmasters and assistant Scoutmasters, this training is divided into four parts. The first three parts concentrate on troop operation and can be completed in one full day or three evenings. Participants then must complete Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills.
This hands-on course is a must for all Scoutmasters and Assistants new to the Boy Scout program. This course gives adult leaders the practical outdoor skills they need to provide a great outdoor program. The skills sessions will provide leaders with proficient knowledge of the basic outdoor skills through the First Class rank.
