Frequently Asked Questions

What hours is the Scout Shop in the Council Service Center open?

The Scout Shop is open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. There are extended hours on Wednesday evening until 8:30 PM and the store is open Saturday morning from 8:30 AM until 12 Noon.  Beginning Wednesday, November 5, 2008, Wednesday evening hours will be shortened, with the Scout Shop closing at 7 PM.

Where is the Council Service Center and Scout Shop located?

Getting to the York-Adams Area Council Service Center and Scout Shop is easy.  Our council is conveniently located near the the intersections of Route 30 and 74 in West York.  This detailed map will help you locate our building.

At what age can my son join Cub Scouts?

Boys must have completed kindergarten or be in first grade, or be age 7 at a minimum to join Cub Scouting as a Tiger Cub.  Please take a minute to read through our "What Is Cub Scouting?" page for additional information.
