Rendezvous at Sherman's Creek

Rendezvous LogoThis Scout encampment, which will include participants from both Keystone Area and York-Adams Area Councils, will be a fun-filled and action-packed weekend for the entire Scouting family. Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Venturers, and their families are all invited to Hidden Valley Scout Reservation near Loysville, PA, for an old-fashioned “rendezvous” on October 2-4, 2009.

This event commemorates the “rendezvous” of old, when frontiersmen would gather to share news and trade for needed goods. Honoring that pioneer heritage, the theme for this event will be “Conquering All Horizons” which will focus on the United States’ historical and technological accomplishments.

Volunteer staff members will be needed from both councils to make this event a success - a staff application is available now that can be downloaded, printed out, and returned to the council service center.
