Archie Manning To Appear
As Keynote Speaker At
Distinguished Citizen Dinner
Former New Orleans Saints quarterback
Archie Manning will be appearing at the keynote speaker at the 2005
Distinguished Citizen Dinner on Thursday, June 16, 2005 at the York Expo
Center, Memorial Hall East.
Manning was the National Football League's
Most Valuable Player in 1978 and two of Manning's sons (Peyton and Eli)
are presently starting NFL quarterbacks. Manning’s warm personality,
drive and sense of humor have inspired people far and wide.

This year's Distinguished Citizen Honoree
is former council president William H. Simpson, President and CEO of
Susquehanna Pfaltzgraff Co. Mr. Simpson (pictured left) has been a long-time supporter of the
Scouting movement and many other community organizations in York.

Citizen Dinner benefit both the York-Adams Area Boy Scout

2005 Boy Scout
Golf Outing
The
31st Annual Boy Scout Golf Outing benefiting the York-Adams Area
Council will be held Monday, July 25th at the Hanover County Club in
Abbottstown, PA. Foursomes, individual players and hole
sponsors help to make this event come together to provide important
financial support to the Boy Scouts in York and Adams Counties.
Hanover Country Club is a first-rate
venue for this outing, providing golf enthusiasts with a challenging
and fun afternoon afternoon on the links.

Fellowship Award
 The James E. West Fellowship Award, named in honor of the Boy
Scouts of America's first Chief Scout Executive, is a program that recognizes
donors for contributions of $1,000 or more to the York-Adams Area Council's
Endowment Fund. Contributions may also be made in honor of or in memory of
