 Activities General Information

Gettysburg Historical Trails Program

In partnership with the Gettysburg National Military Park, the York-Adams Area Council is proud to offer unique hiking tours of the historic battlefield and surrounding area.  Pictured to the left are the patch segments awarded for completing different activities, including the Billy Yank and Johnny Reb trails through the battlefield, the Historic Gettysburg trail through the downtown area, The Eisenhower National Historic Site and The Visitor Center/National Cemetery at Gettysburg.

The York-Adams Area Council Scout Shop maintains an inventory of printed trail guides and sells the patch segments and historic trail segments for units completing each element of the program.
